Hi, my name is André. I am a 26-year-old Dutch guy who gets around way too much to really be able to play the piano. I've lived in Australia, the Solomon Islands and Spain and currently I am based in Manchester, the UK.
At the age of 10, I started playing the piano, first practising on a 50 key electric organ, then on a rented, century-old piano with dented, brownish keys and now, back home in Holland, I own a new upright.
Up until the age of 18 I played every day and the pinnacle of my "career" was a pounding Honky Tonk Train Blues. I own two boogie woogie sheet music books (Axel Zwingenberger and Claude Bolling) which I'd love to scan and share with you.
Not having touched a key for 8 years, I am now hoping to get back on the scene and share some videos with you, get some comments, learn a few tricks, etc. I have just received the piano I ordered through eBay, and my hands are itching!
