Kenny Lee Kidd
Kenny grew up loving music! He started playing guitar at the age of 14. Chuck Berry and Elvis were among his earliest influences. Kenny's parents had a piano in the home and one day Teddy Reidel came by to tune the piano and after watching him play, he lost his interest in his guitar. Kenny started listening to his mom's records and would pick out the piano parts. Kenny's newest influences became Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. Kenny would later start playing in Honky Tonks and various venues. Kenny paid his dues night after night until he suffered a bout with a malignant brain tumor. Of course, knowing this the doctors didn't give Kenny much hope of being able to play his music again. After a 12 hour surgery, Kenny was cancer free. Kenny's love for music and a higher faith kept him going and he would soon get to meet and become an opening act for some of his earliest idols and legends. (to read more go to www.kennythekidd.com)
