Hi I'm Tomas Oster

I'm 34 years old and live in Sweden where I work as a Salesman/Technician. I first heard Alex Zwingenberger about 5 years ago and I was immediately hooked, as he successfully passed on the Boogiebug. I bought myself a Casio Keyboard and started to learn left hand Bass riff's of C,F & G. Unfortunately I cannot read music, I just listen to the tune and work it all out for myself. I wish that I had started much earlier in my life while I was still attending school. Although I under stand that for some people the urge comes a little later in life. A couple of years later I purchased an Electric piano (the one on the videos).

When I listen to young Piano players I'm very impressed and envious of what they have achieved. I have often wondered if one should learn to play classical music, before moving over to play the Blues and Boogie Woogie, to get the feel and timing of the music that the most Pro players seem to have. It also amazes me that there are so many young people interested in the Boogie Woogie style. And it really helps piano players like myself when they post their recorded video clip on web sites like this and you tube. looking down on to the keyboard while playing slowly, I and many others like me are truly grateful.
